Pirates of the Caribbean

Did you know that  in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, the gun with one shot that Captain Jack Sparrow wields the whole movie with one shot for the mutinous Barbossa is not a reproduction, but an actual 17th Century English .50 caliber flintlock pistol.


“Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl is the 2003 film adaptation of the popular Disneyland ride. The film stars Johnny Depp in his now iconic role as pirate Captain Jack Sparrow. The film would spawn three more films: Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest (2006) and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End (2007), and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011).
